機會係個天俾嘅 yes. BUT it is only those who are prepared that can see and catzapliie the chance given. The people who always blames god/命/天 that there is no chance is absolutely wrong! If they haven't prepared, work hard or think hard, how can they see the chance themselves, even if they see the opportunity is right in front of them, they wont have the skills, connection, knowledge or experience to take advantage of it.How sad!!!Bomb

I too am reading thougrh the Bible in a year, my first time, I\'m doing good so far, but it is still January. Isn\'t it amazing how God laid out each step, do this and this will happen, do THIS and THIS will happen, (I\'m in Leviticus) yet, they didn\'t heed His words and the consequences were delivered. They were whiney, confused and did not trust. If we follow His will, we will always be ok.Thanks for the reminder today.God has directed our paths in such a way this last year that, looking back, we are assured that God directed our steps. We left full time military so that my husband could attend seminary to become a Chaplain. We have been thougrh many struggles; unemployment, bill collectors and threats of foreclosure, but God has pulled us thougrh, we are catching up and we know that we are on the right path.Proverbs 16:9 comes to mind, In his heart a man plans his course, but the Lord determines his steps.

[...] At STORYCHURCH in Durham NC we are going through the book of James. We decided it would be a summer long series dedicated to James’s point of view. James writings have been life changing and increased how we see each other and God.
